Thanks for all of the input. You hit the nail on the same head we did. If they want it they can pay for it. I am getting the responses pretty much in line with what I thought they would be. Unless our client support teams' research returns a different opinion, we have tentatively decided that Codebase doesn't solve our issue and we are leaning to SQL back-end and maintaining VFP tables ( or MSDE )on a local machine that can detach from the network or be a stand-alone. Our consensus is we are going to convert alot of code to VC++ and free up all the tables and drop the dbc in lieu of Doug's fine Stonefield product. Things are subject to change.
