Craig;

Removing the athletes would make the point that a country is responsible for the behavior of its judges and team. This is a serious step and one I believe would get the attention of the “audience”. Just looking at the history of judging at the Olympics, it seems little more than a joke. Bias, prejudice, politics and payoffs come to mind. That is not what the Olympics are meant to be however it is reality.

Allowing judges to “make deals”, etc. is not much different than removing the competition of any event. The athletes from other countries should not be allowed to appear as they are wasting time and effort. Just let the “winners” appear for the event. In fact why have events? Just pass out the "Medals"!

I want to see action and not a bunch of “good ol boys”, smoking cigars, drinking whiskey (Vodka or Cognac) in the back room “making deals”!

There is a lot of money involved with Olympic events. Money and power do strange things to humans. They had better clean up their act!

>>Simply disqualify the judges and teams from the respective countries, Russia and France. If something is not done now this will never be resolved. Does the IOC have any credibility?
