just a thought - but do you only have the 1 ocx on that form ?
if i remember correctly, that error message gives the record
number in the scx table that corresponds to the problematic
control. if you do have multiple ocx controls
on your form, open the scx as a table and verify that the error
message is indeed referring to the ocx that you think it is. (look
in the 'objname' field for the reported record number.
