You cannot say that the UT is the official forum for Microsoft, there is no agreemnts or contracts that exist. Everything is purely voluntary between Microsoft and the UT. It is a pure community effort. If the UT business benefits from Microsoft activity with the UT, then great. That would mean more features could be added to the UT and more people could benefit from it.
