Right click you mouse and check the properties of your file to see if is readonly or have another propertie set that did not allow you to open. Sometimes is a file that belong to password protected MDB and the administrator of the original MDB has to give you access to that table. You never said the origin of your MDB so Is difficult to me to figure out all the possibilities.
