I know what you mean--I just looked at a 4 person (2 FTE, 2 1/2 time) project that's being developed in VB/SQL server, and, as best as I can tell it's a smaller app than a similar one I've done VFP, will only have about a hundred tables with the largest, maybe, having, oh, 2000 records. It's been a year in development, is a third thru it's budget and the client doesn't even have an alpha version on their desk. Oh, and since the main folks left, no one has the password to the NT Server.
I'm glad for the chance to use VB and SQL Server, but it doesn't seem quite right. And now the client is asking if maybe they don't really need to use Oracle????
:-(
