I need to run a Micro Focus Cobol application from a VFP program and then return focus back to VFP prior to the Cobol program completing its tasks.

The Cobol program and the VFP program are running on timers.

Process:

The VFP program is started and the timer is fired. At the end of the execution of the VFP routine the program calls a Cobol program. (The Cobol program will run continuously from that point forward.) Immediately after the Cobol program is called I want the focus to return back to the VFP program so the VFP timer can be fired again. From this point forward the focus should be on the VFP program with the Cobol program running in the background. (The Cobol program is only fired from the VFP application once.)

I have tried to use the RUN and the RUN /N commands without any success. The Cobol program will fire but it will not return control back to the VFP application.

I would appreciate any help I could get.
