We were testing VFP's speed (working toward a Thin Client installation) and a weird thing happened...

The test consists of a loop that updates a progress bar. As the the percent complete is also shown above the progress bar. When the loop is finished, the elapsed time is displayed.

Here's the weird part... If we start the program and then don't touch anything, it averages 10.5 to 10.6 seconds. However, if we start the program then move the mouse around, alt-tab to another program, etc... the loop finishes _sooner_. About 9.3 seconds...

Shouldn't the interuption of the mouse activity _slow down_ the overall progress?
