>Yes Sarah it is Visual Foxpro 5.0a. For the high quality(Near Letter Quality) labels there are no problems. Everything prints fine. This is using a True Type Courier Font. It is just too slow for the people I am developing for. In Visual Foxpro we use a label writing utility, so I basically write no code other than specifics for a particular field on the label. This includes assigning the types of fonts(Gothic Types) that those fields print. These fonts are the way which I can control the high speed printing. I am not familar with 2.x Foxpro so I am wondering if you are using a similar facility or are you coding it all yourself?

Coding it myself. Haven't looked into the label parts of VFP. We tend to instinctively ignore them down here because we work on different paper sizes to the US. Those dinky utilitys in other programs like Word are wasted on us - although Word 8 has caught on to our paper sizes now.

Oooh - just had a look - they provide metric sizes. Now if I can just buy the labels ...
