I can't find any docs on Microsoft tech support. Has anyone had this problem before?

VFP 5.0a on Windows NT Workstation. I created a local view set the Send SQL Updates, I have set my key on the primary field and set update for two fields - name C(40) and desc (M). The name field updates fine but when changing the memo field and issuing TABLEUPDATE() I get an syntax error (10). I only get it if I change the memo field, the character field works fine.

Any ideas ?
