This is the Universal Thread Visual FoxPro 8 Task Pane. This file is needed in order to use the Universal Thread Task Pane in Visual FoxPro. It superceeds the default Universal Thread Task Pane that is provided in Visual FoxPro.

Description
This assume you have downloaded this file and have unzipped it. To update, simply do the following steps: 1. Start Visual FoxPro 2. Click Tools / Task Pane 3. Go in Options 4. Select Task Pane Manager 5. Click Customize 6. Click Install Pane 7. Select UT.xml Proceed from there to fully customize the Task Pane in the way you want. Version 1.1 provides labels in front of all items other than news.

This download is an update for Universal Thread support in the Visual FoxPro 8.0 Task Pane. This file is needed in order to retrieve Universal Thread content for the Community Task Pane. This file is provided as is and is not an official update from Microsoft Corporation. In addition, this update has not been tested and is not supported by Microsoft. Randy Brown, May 31, 2003

As a user or as the owner of the Universal Thread, I should be allowed to post an entry in this section without expecting to receive a Microsoft disclaimer. If you do it for me, you might as well add your Microsoft disclaimer to all the other entries in this section. By doing do, you are given the impression that this file is not appropriate and that lowers its recognition. This is really unprofessional. Also, when a user is posting a file in this section, I believe he is smart enough to do his own tests. It is not my impression that this user would rely on Microsoft to do his testing. Downloaded the file and followed the directions and it solved the problem I had with the UT community link pointing the obselete URL. Too bad There isn't some facility for these community members to check for updates for themselves. Wish the info had been easier to find, also. p.s. Lighten up, Michel.
