=GetBuildNumber("FRED.EXE") gets the build number of FRED.EXE using WIN32API calls. GetFileVersion in FOXTOOLS does this and more but (a) you have to SET LIBRARY TO FOXTOOLS and (b) GetFileVersion will be flagged as an unknown function during compilation.
