This Control was created around the VfpPing.Dll (Use granted by author of control) It can be found at http://www.universalthread.com All it does is ping the device named in the IPAddress property and returns the status Changing the bitmap status. i.e. Green Bitmap for Good REd X Bitmap for Bad I use it to keep tabs on the status of a bar code network. Running the sample form allows me to check in a moment if all devices are running. Please feel free to imporve this and send me any suggestions etc.
