Description
At least the following first 7 items are unique to this resizer: 1) No need to subclass and modify ActiveXs for resizer. Only drop to your form and i'ts resizable If there is some odd features to resize, you can add it easily to resizer source code. All VFP like and Size, Radius, Diameter properties supported (others easily added). 2) Saves and restores form dimensions automatically if needed 3) You can change / save form parameters (how things are resized) in WINDOWS SIZE POPUP and these parameters are restored (if needed) next time when form is loaded. All parameters can be restored to the original ones in WINDOWS SIZE POPUP (WSP is also resizable). 4) Each control CAN flaged (how to resize) separately (otherwise form defaults are used). 5) Sticky resizing (Stick to Left, Top, Right, Bottom) 6) VFP3, VFP5 (VFP4 if some one has it :-), VFP6, VFP7 supported. 7) Multilanguage supported (now 2) but easily added. 8) Several global flag to modify what you want and what you don't 9) Form can also be resized by percentages and with isometric on / off. percentage can be form original, restored or from current. 10) Add Addobject or Newobject to init and resize to form resize event but can be also easely changed to visual class (drag and drop). 11) No DLL is used (there is always a mess if resizer declare/clear dlls used by application already) 12) Source code included and commented. P.S. How to run demo? IMPORTANT: Uncheck Show window contents while dragging from WINDOWS destkop properties! Unzip ATresizer to directory f.ex. C:\Atresizer Start VFP In the command window: CD C:\Atresizer DO FORM DEMO NOTE: Look for the label1 on page 1, why FontSize check box (WINDOWS SIZE POPUP)doesn't affect it? - It has it's own flags in TAG property!! It's important to change the directory first to the directory where Atresizer is unzipped. Sorry discomfort, but I made it to show resizer, not to work like enduser APP :). NOTE: Demo uses two MS AvtiveX - MS Outline and MS Calendar, if you haven't register those, modify form demo and remove ActiveXs and replace registered ones (if you like to see how ActiveX is resizing). Know bugs FIXED! - SaveOriginalDimensions adds to the array even if the cell already exist in array (this is for VFP3 - VFP 5) FIXED. - If .MEM file is used to save/restore form dimensions only the last form in process get saved (others are overwritten) FIXED.
