GoFish.app v3.1 Global String Search/Edit/Replace

GoFish.app can search for a string in all the files within a FP or VFP project and/or a particular directory/subdirectories. It is able to directly edit the found strings which are automatically recompiled (VFP). And, it has the option of Auto-Replacing the found strings with another string. This utility is compiled in VFP 6.0 to run in VFP 6 and higher. Projects searched can be VFP or FP.

Latest: Added ability to group selected file types and more focus on using it to search JSP, JAVA and XML files too. xbase since late 80s - dbxl/Quicksilver, dbase, Force, Clipper, FoxPro, VFP, Java, Javascript. Created gofish.app (downloadable here at UT) to search FP/VFP Projects and/or directories/subdirectories for a string and optionally automatically replace it with another or blank.

This is an excellent product. It saves so much time and I won't be using Explorer again - thank goodness. If Peter is maintaing a wish list it would be nice to provide the facility for searching sub directories. My forms, prgs etc are stored in sub-dirs of the main project directory and to be able to search them all at the same time would make an excellent product superb.
