Unfortunately, I am not consuming Web Services from VFP, so I'm certainly no expert ... Rick is pretty knowledgeable about it though. Even though you could only find two articles about it, I'd say that's all you need. =)

Why don't you try downloading Rick's wwSoap and wwXML classes and try playing with your Web Service based on his article (the second one you've listed).

This has been a big rant of mine ... writing Web Services with complex types. I don't believe they should be written that way and yet people continue to do it.
