I have a VFP8 report form that has two OLE controls for bmp images. Both controls are set to "Scale Picture, Retain Shape" and use the Picture From File option where the name of the bmp's are stored in a character field of a VFP table. The two bmp's are 346 KB and 2247 KB in size.

The app gives the user the option to preview the report, send it to a printer, or create a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat 4.0

Here's the problem. In the preview and the printer output, the two bmp's are very sharp but on the pdf file (both on screen and printed), both bmp's display a good deal of 'fuziness' and one of them has a black line on the right edge of the image. Does anyone know what could be degrading the quality of these bmp's when they are in the pdf file?
