Hi Gary
>I had a couple of "funnies" with a large VFP9 deployment. Turned out that many issues were resolved by ensuring that the VFP9 application used its own foxuser.dbf and stopped it using the existing foxuser.dbf from the earlier VFP8 version of the application. Maybe there is an older Foxuser on the test machine?
Thanks for your input. It makes sense to check. So I just looked over the winMe machine. It's foxuser free.
Following Neil advice I installed the package on a win2K machine. It runs fine. The toolbar shows up.
Possibly the problem is stricty related to winME itself. Possibly due to support DLL missing or inadequate (GDI+ ?).
Concerning GDIPLUS, it SHOULD work since the installshield Express for VFP specifically care for this.
We may have to live without WinME support. Not really an issue but i wonder now about Win98... Still a few to support occasionaly.
