If Sergy's recommendation doesn't work (which I've never seen happen, by the way <bg>), you might want to try upgrading to Adobe 6 or higher.

Different PDF engines render PDFS VERY differently. I find Adobe PDF 6 to be the most accurate to the original (compared to 2 other 3rd party tools that I've used).
