I got a Dell Inspiron 8100 with this display and absolutely love it. I see they just started offering a 24" desktop LCD that has the same resolution, but haven't seen it in realtime yet. Since it's quite a bit bigger then the 19" (IIRC) on the notebook it'll probably look a tad different. The 8100 doesn't fall into the lightweight category but I really like it.

I'm seriously considering the need for 1920x1200, and I'm torn between going to a high-power desktop plus a lightweight notebook, vs. a single high-power (and heavy, like I always do to myself) notebook. I'm finally travelling a bit less, so 2 machines could actually work for once.
