I haven't worked with this for several months, and I had to create a simple app to refresh my memory! I'm not sure if this is a bug in VFP8, and I haven't checked if it works differently in 9 (won't get that for a few months probably).

It definitely occurs when throwing an exception from a stored procedure, or when you wrap a tableupdate in a try block (that causes an error in the SP to be raised) Now on wrapping a delete operation with a simple delete trigger, I didn't get the "procedure canceled" message. Are raising errors or throwing exception anywhere in your SP code?

So basically I'm not sure! Don't know why it would work this way, but it definitely is annoying.
