My computer is an AMD K6-200MMX with 64Mb RAM and it takes about 0.25 secs to display with test.prg. Also another data file with 5317 recs takes about 2 secs to load (may not be acceptable). I don't think your hardware could have a big role on speed so I wonder if debugger was open when you tried it. If so close debugger and try.
