I know this may seem trivial to some, but I'm drawing a blank today and need to get this done. What are the command(s) that the Project Manager uses to rename a table (and it's dbf files) when you right click on the table and choose "Rename"?

I want to be able to do this in a program without having the project open.

I know I can do a "copy to" with the database name, but this is nearly a 2G table and don't want to wait for it to copy and then have to delete/drop the old one.

The "rename table" command just creates an alias and the dbf file name stays the same - not what I need either.

The table of course also has long field names that I don't want to rebuild if I were to drop the table, rename the dbf files and re-add the table to the database.

So how does the Project Manager do it and what are the command(s) I can use in a .prg to achieve the same results?

TIA
