Has anyone heard of writing apps in FoxPro for Topsail. I am referring to Topsail server applications that handle the movement of data between data terminals like LINX V from http://www.linxdata.com

I was on a web site ( http://www.linxdata.com/topsail.htm )where they talked about how FoxPro apps were written to perform data handling, but I don't see much evidence of it. There is not one reference to this on the UT at all. I saw nothing when I went into yahoo's search engine. Of course, there could certainly be FoxPro apps to work with Topsail, btu maybe no one has mentioned it publicly.

The below is extracted from the Linxdata web site:

Server Application
The server application handles interaction with databases and/or back office (3rd tier) applications. It executes on a TopSail Server ( a Windows workstation running TopSail). A single server can handle hundreds of LINX clients in most applications. The TopSail server responds to transaction requests from the LINX clients and does whatever processing your application needs. Replies may be sent to the requesting terminal without regard to the underlying network topology.

You choose the language for your server application. TopSail server applications have been implemented in Visual Basic, C++, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, Access, and other popular programs. TopSail provides additional support for visual Basic server in the form of extended help files with examples for every TopSail function.
