I've seen this sort of odd error from time to time. It usually involves a problem with data binding (although the error is somewhat "vague"). First of all, I recommend taking a close look at your UI controls to see if there are any invalid settings for your data binding. If you don't see anything, I recommend setting the BindingFlag to false on various UI controls to see which may be the culprit.
