Hi Rick,

>PMFJI... I just started experimenting with this product after seeing your comments here. With respect to encryption, I'm finding that if I supply an incorrect or missing password when attempting to extract files from an encrypted Zip archive, the control's zExtractAll method does not return an error code. Instead, it returns zero, indicating success, but it does not extract the file(s). Because it returns zero, the program has no way of knowing the files weren't extracted.

>I may be doing something wrong in my implementation of this, but I'm wondering if you have successfully used encryption and been able to detect the condition of a missing or invalid password.

I am happy to help you out but am at my in-laws this weekend and without access to my code base. When I return home, I'll take a look at my code and see what I come up with. If you're in a hurry, you may also want to contact the vendor. I found the vendor helpful and responsive to my questions.
