Has anyone heard of FPW 2.6 getfile(), putfile(), or getdir() crashing an app when a user tries to access a drive other than C: using these dialogs?

I have an old FPW 2.6 production program that crashes on XP when a user invokes code that uses these file/directory dialogs. I can reproduce the problem on my XP SP 1 setup - but only for drive letters other than C:.

What's strange is that these dialogs work fine from the FPW 2.6 command prompt on my XP test system - but when compiled into an EXE and invoked while the app is running, these dialogs will cause the application to hang after they are exited.

The hang happens after the user has selected a file or folder and hit OK (dialog disappears) and before the next line of Foxpro code that follows the dialog.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
