This system is fairly old and was build under VFP 7.0 and then migrated successfully to 8.0 SP1. Late last week with no code change to the menu (built with Menu Designer), I started getting this error "Cannot find the menu-generation program." I did not use a menu generation program - just the Menu Designer within VFP. I reinstalled VFP 8.0 SP1 last week but still had not success with the recompiling.

After having read the help file concerning this error, I could not see why this error applied. So I tried removing the Option to "Recompile All Files" in the Build Options window. That worked fine last week, but no success today.

The code that calls the menu is

do ".\agntmstr\menus\mainmenu.mpr"
do form ".\agntmstr\forms\agntmstr.scx"
read events

I have VFP 9.0 but I have not installed it yet. I hated to add one more issue to the problem.

I hope it is an quick solution where I feel very slow.
