Yes, it preserves everything since it is going through the application. I have customers who use an automated publishing product we sell (AutoPub) that creates Ventura files on the fly. It maintains all fonts, graphics, formatting (multiple columns) etc. They mass and batch fax sales flyers, news letters, invoices, statements, POs, etc.

Implementation is pretty straight forward. Take a look at the SDK documentation which is in PDF.
