Hi Claude,
>I asked if AFP uses the multi-threaded server out of the box. I don't think you answered that one.
I quote you: "However, some of his posts were wrong and I corrected him and received no response." Please let me know which of my post were wrong, you corrected me, and received no response. I'm always interested in making sure that I don't post anything wrong, or any of my posting can be misunderstood. I'd appreciate any hint you can give me to let me correct any incorrect statement I made. However, asking, if AFP uses multi-threaded servers out of the box, isn't what I consider "correcting me".
To answer this question: As I stated a couple of days ago: Yes, AFP uses multi-threaded servers out of the box; all the internal threads use the MTDLL runtime.
To answer your previous question: I didn't reply to your question, because it moved away from the initial issue which is whether AFP supports MTDLLs, or not. We clarified this and we all know now that AFP does indeed support MTDLLs just like AVFP. The question whether or not this is the default (which was your original question in the message you refer to) is just as relevant in this context as would be asking what the default setting in the VFP project build dialog is when we discuss the question whether or not VFP can produce executables. Just because VFP defaults to "rebuild project" doesn't mean that we cannot create an EXE.
