3 ways in avfp3 in order of ease:
1.) if the changes are in main.prg or any of the html templates, then nothing is needed other than saving the changes to those files.
2.) "Unload" button from the IIS console - find avfpdemo in the iis console and right click properties. The button is there to simply unload this application This is the least disruptive way other than #1 for replacing the files.
3.) iisreset from the command line. Stops/Starts web server

>I am not a big network master so I didn't know how to stop IIS to use avfpdemo3.dll so I could rebuild it.
