Hi all,

I'm looking for some type of compression tool (preferably a class) that I can include in an executable that will pack and unpack PKZIP files (or 100% compatible). Then again, I guess it doesn't have to be PKZIP compatible. Anyway, it needs to run invisible to the user. It will be used for backing up data files to diskette and, if necessary, restoring from diskette. The ability to span disks may be necessary. Does anyone have something that will do this or know of something that will do this? I think I read where someone said they use ZLIB (I'm guessing at the name, not sure exactly). Any information will be greatly appreciated.
