You must have some overridden code preventing it. I just added a commandgroup to a VFP5 form, put debugout program() in the form, group and button refresh methods, and in form.click() put this.refresh() and it quite properly cascades through everything.

>It seems that a refresh of a commandgroup does not run the refresh of the command buttons therein. Is this an old problem I am just now finding?? I know I can write a loop in the refresh event of the commandgroup, but I thought that was what a container was all about.
