>Hello,

>I earlier had posted that I was getting an error in a textbox class when I put a dodefault() in the beginning of the gotfocus event. The error was being generated in some code in the parent class. My question was why didn't the error occur when my instance had nothing in the gotfocus event. Anyway, someone suggested that I upgrade to VFP 5.0a which did the trick!

Upgrading to 5.0a does not upgrade the setup wizard. Download and install the updated setup wizard from

http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/setupwiz.exe

This may correct the problem you are having.
