I have some end Users who are trying to open some VFP application tables with Access 2000.

Some of them they can open OK. However, some generate an error: "External table is not in the expected format.".

Some generate an error: "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object 'VFPtable.dbf'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and path name correctly."

VFPtable is the name of the table I just selected with the Open dialog.

We had none of these problems in Access 97.
