>Yes, Garrett, There is "all" the stuff previously rumoured (promised), like HTML forms, MTS, scrollable forms.
>MTS is probably very useful, once it is fully described. At this point, to me, it remains mainly a mystery with promise. Coverage analysis look like mainly an APP, though potentially a useful one. The _Assign & _Access functionality looks like it could be handy too. But I really wonder how many real DEVELOPERS asked for these things - developers with real end-users at the other end of their systems???

>As I said in my original, it may be just what interested the author which made it into the article. But it looks troublesome to me. What about the "wish list" stuff from the simpler to the more complex?? Where is *any* of that? Hopefully, much of it is there, just not yet publicized.

Jim,
while VFP6.0 may not offer to many new stuff that end-users will see
(we still. have the same report designer etc)
it does offer alot on enhancing the programmer/developer productivity

the Asign and access methods are one of the greatest things on earth, and ,
the project hooks gives you a way to customize your system per project,
the foundation classes, gives you framework to use so, if you are a new (and even if you are not so new) you don't have to start from scratch etc.

Also VFP6 brings VFP closer to the rest of the MS dev tools (apartment model threading, better COM support, MTS integration) - even if ,IMHO, they didn't do enough, it is still very important
