And as far as we know, VFP 9.0 development should install on a Win98 machine and run if it has the free GDI+ plus libraries installed, it's just that the VFP team did not test VFP 9.0 for that and that means it is used unsupported. This is not to be confused with the VFP 9.0 "runtime" support, which does include Win98 as mentioned in my letter this month at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/letters/.
