Hi Kevin,
This might be a good time to bring up the point that there are alternatives to total conversion (which would be expensive and time consuming). For example, for web apps, one approach might be to keep a large part of the functionality in vfp mtdlls and just call them from ASP.NET. Then gradually and if desired, the application could do more on the ASP.NET side while taking advantage of valuable routines in VFP. In other words a "go-slow" approach with .NET rather than a "bet the farm" approach. You might want to consider this approach for your seminar if you haven't already done so. I think this total conversion stuff scares most vfp developers and turns them off to companies proposing it...
