Having known Kevin since the late 90s -- in the roles of mentor, trainer, and speaker -- let me say that your categorization of him is not an accurate one.

In our discussions on the topic of VFP and its future, I can't remember him ever denigrating it or any developers choosing to use it. What he *has* done (so far) is recognize two things: the market for .NET -- which he addressed with the MM.NET framework -- , and the demand for VFP to .NET conversion tools -- which he (and Marcus) is addressing with this conference.

As usual, for those of us who've worked with Kevin, he is giving people what they're clamoring for. Nothing more should be read into that. If you have specific complaints, maybe you should address them specifically instead of making broad, sweeping, negative generalizations?
