I'm creating a report that is essentially "middle ware" that will generate a file designed to flow into Quark Express. When I work with memo fields, though, I end up with extra returns - as far as I can tell they are determined by the "box" in the report designer. It seems like the word wrapping creates hard returns that show up in the file.

Any suggestions on how to eliminate unwanted returns would be greatly appreciated!
