I never said I attribute the decline to a handful of people. I don't know where you get that. One thing I've noticed is that listings often do ask for a grab bag full of skills. And it's unrealistic. No one can master all the skills these employers seem to want and so they get a "jack of all trades, but master of none." If they are listing a small set of specific skills, it's one thing, but sometimes these listings are ridiculous.

>I firmly believe you are putting the cart before the horse, as the saying goes. How can you attribute a massive decline in usage, as Foxpro has experienced over the last decade, to a handful of people?

>Does it not perk your curiousity when so many people have disappeared from this forum over the last several years? And have not returned. Could it be that they are finding that they can develop apps just as well, if not better with other tools? Or that they find that there are far more job opportunities using other tools.

>Also, as I've aready stated, a very large percentage of jobs that do advertise VFP as a requirement, also list other skills. Typically C# is one of those skills.

>Just maybe they are marketing because of need. They are not trying to create a market.
