I just tried to find my copy, but, I believe Cathy Gerro wrote that chapter. The fact that he didn't write the chapter and the fact that he doesn't (to my knowledge) use interop in his framework and the fact that he doesn't do a lot of talking about interop leads me to these conclusions...
