Kevin,

SNIP..

>This goes back to my original point - Kevin and Markus (and others) have made big contributions towards the knowledge base in moving to .NET, and I think it's pretty cheap for certain folks to negatively characterize their efforts.

I generally do not have a problem with people advertising for their seminars and do not have any personal matter with either kevin or marcus. However I do question if it is appropriate given the sensitivities in regards of this topic to post it up the VFP forum. One could easily explain this as obstruction (as clear has been the case here). What do you expect for a reaction when you post a message JavaConversion Seminar onto a Java forum ?? I'd bet you'll get flamed for that too..

In regards of language choice. I think it is important to be an expert in at least one. Beeing an expert brings you on top of anyone not beeing an expert. It does not make sense to be joe average in 3 languages/tools.

Walter,
