I think you have it mixed up. You mentioned a man with a fruit so naturally everyone holding an apple gets offended.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you have a problem with a man, you say it to the man, don't play guessing games and try to talk in generalizations. If you mean Kevin, say Kevin. Say what you mean, so you don't have to leave anything to interpretation.
