About to be a FOXPRO programmer I do not intent to be for sure. I only need to know what I can do with the resource and send someone from my team to learn it.
By the way, learn new technologies are not like to be a garbage collector. Is to be a technical shiver. Is to search for the good ones and use it in the better way to specifics situations.
Open your mind. Learn everything you can. Do not include yourself beyond limitations.

If I am using FOXPRO in my projects, is because I could felt it powerful. For sure I have read about the possibilities before get in and see what VFP was capable to do.
In a multi environment world is good to know that we have resources as VFP.
But in other way is sad to learn that some people do not want to share this world.
I really know how easy is to use grid a cursor adapter and my team will use it for sure. But this is a specific situation and I am sure that the better solution is to let the client to contact direct the DBMS and let it do the job.

I do not think this is the case to be aggressive. Probably you don’t understood yet. The case here is about to contact the DBMS direct through VFP capabilities.
I am not discussing about what is the better way to use VFP. I need to access the library and is it.
What I asked before is how to do it. You know how to do or not. It is simple like that.

About discriminations on my age the only think I can tell you is:
You became an old person in technologies matters, when you do not want to learn anymore.
So please, start making an exercise. Learn how to communicate well with people.
Take a walk through some green fields. Swim in crystal water river and dedicate some time to share your great knowledge with humans and the nature.
Be always a cordial and friend person. And teach. Teach a lot and share your knowledge because on this way you will always learn more.
Have for yourself a great future. And put in your heart and mind a simple phrase.
I hope to continue to learn until I die no matter with what age it will come.
