This technology is from SONY Electronics. The article claims that it can "beam" signals to the brain (it may not work for some of us:). These signals will affect the aural (sight sound smell touch) centers of the brain.

I can guess what kind of software I would start developing when this technology becomes common place (who wouldn't!):

Reminds me of that old sci-fi movie, where the "Krell" developed technology without (get this - it's from the script) "instrumentality".
