Well I used to receive a few calls a year. Nowerdays one in two years. But anyways I'm not registered at too many offices as a consultant and did not do any consultancy work in about 5 or 6 years now.

How much work there is for VFP consultants up here? I don't think there are too many. But again I don't think there ever were too many. Here it is all about fixed positions. If I was looking for a VFP job, I'd probably could get one without much trouble. If not, hell, then I'd looking for something else. Not so much a problem for me.

Walter,

>You had one call in a couple months? I used to get a couple calls a month, then the market in general went south and I didn't get a call for two years. The market is turning around and in the past six months I've gotten 2 inquiries. There are jobs, but when you compare to other technologies, it's not even close. Well, maybe to APL or Powerbuilder...

>>A few months ago, I was called by a dutch headhunter for a VFP job in hawai for one year.
>>One has to wonder how they that process went. It seems that taking someone out of the US would be more simpler to do. Anyways I had to refuse that one as I'm up into my ears into VFP work.
