Get off it and allow the rest of us to discuss things we want to. If you don't like the topic, don't read it.
If you were asking implementation questions or offering implementation solutions for DO(n')T NOT, then you have something to stand. But that is not what you are doing.

What you are doing is publically acknowledging that VFP and NOT are over your head and vainly trying to mask that as a natural progression of a fading career.

The sour grapes syndrome - you fail in one aspect of your profession and you blame it on the tool and label those that are enjoying success with what you failed to learn with the image you see in the mirror. Good luck John - go help M and M sell NOT on a DOT NOT forum - OOPS - you can't do that - because there might be real NOT programmers there that would laugh you and your replacement heros right off the board.

P.S. Few of us are here to kill VFP. Most of us, IMO, make our livings in fox.
Don't confuse a help desk job with software development! And never intimate that your words and choices are somehow having an affect or represent an acurate POV on the future of VFP or NOT development. From what I've read, your an underskilled puffer fish in a big pond. Right now you're sucking in water to make yourself look important - but the sharks in the pond know a bloated puffer when they see one. And now they're getting ready to replace you.

If you "really" knew how to do it in VFP - you would have figured DOT NOT on your own. All you have now is the task of sweeping the red carpet for your replacements.

There's a lot of development work (even in foxpro) for those that keep the nose to the wheel.

So please - quit pretending that your switch to something else you don't understand - and forcing your boss to go out of house for development services as an indication that you are a master of the topic. You're just another guy who could not deliver - plane and simple - and your need to boast about yourinability on this forum will do nothing for you.

Love
Terry
