As our software and corporation grows bigger, so does corporate policy. We are not as easily able to have our customers beta test our software for us, like the old days. And our test environment is not nearly adequate enough for realistic testing.

We are looking for a solution to help us validate and expedite program testing.

What options do we have, via 3rd party software, to load-test our software? That would help us ensure our new code is good and solid? I am not sure what is available out there, what do people here use, and to do what exactly?

I am now starting to look at software such as Mercury LoadRunner and Segue SilkTest. I am not sure what these can do for us, does anyone here use them or anything like them?
