i have an app written in delphi c/s 2.0 that uses an
automation server written in vfp5.0a.
it works really well.
we are using delphi b/c of native informix connectivity and the
app pulls a dataset from infx local and then manuipulates it based on
user options. i found data access & manipulation in delphi very cumbersome so went for the automation server.
in delphi (2.0) the command is CreateOleObject( ProjName.ClassName )

you need the vfp runtimes installed in order for it to work.

if you want more delphi specifics, let me know but probably wont be able to provide details until next week ( i'm at devcon now and am enjoying it very much ).
